The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do to map your home.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big.
